Leah's approach to learning

I believe in customized instruction to fit your
learning style and needs.

You may be a student who is currently struggling to learn and needs one-on-one instruction.  Or you could be an adult that once attempted to learn in a classroom setting and is now searching for a new approach.  This could be the first time that you have taken action to learn a new subject.

Whomever you are, remember that you should never stop seeking to learn.

Understand that all that may be missing is a different approach.

The ¡Learn with Leah! program is that unique avenue.

My journey as a student led me to the desire of becoming an educator.

My goal is to assist others to expand their opportunities by

learning something new with a personalized learning atmosphere.

If you have the passion to know, I have the passion to teach.

I am and always will be a student and hope to always share my knowledge as an educator.

“Knowledge is like money: to be of value it must circulate, and in circulating it can increase in quantity and, hopefully, in value.”

- Louis L'Amour

(1908-1988, American author)

From the first day of our lives, we begin learning.

We learn from everything that surrounds us.

Our teachers, our family, our life experiences, our own successes and mistakes.  We become individuals with independent abilities and weaknesses and in turn, develop separate learning styles.

As some one who has gone through the education system as a student and then was taught how to be a teacher, I believe that everyone learns differently.  Imagine how much you could understand if you had teachers that took the time to focus on you individually.  To take it to the next step, the lessons plans would coordinate with your style of learning.  The information would have practical use for the life that you live.

This is ¡Learn with Leah

About Leah

Currently, I am working towards a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Spanish
from the University of South Florida.
This degree will allow me to teach Spanish anywhere in the United States for grade levels K-12.
Included in this degree will be an ESOL endorcement to teach English to students of other languages.

My training is appropriate for the school system, however I feel that it has always been my passion to teach one-on-one.
I believe that my approach to teaching will make the difference between failure and success.
